Westlawn students’ pride themselves in showing respect for themselves, others and their community. Each month our guidance counselors guide and lead the focus of a particular character trait. Teachers model and help instruct the traits.
At the end of the month, students are chosen by their teacher for demonstrating the monthly character trait. Students are recognized in several ways. They are acknowledged on the morning TV show, WES TV. They also receive a certificate from the administrators and teacher, along with a Westlawn Soaring Eagle magnet.
