Friday was a spirted day at Westlawn. We had students and staff personifying their favorite book characters, wearing favorite sports team clothing and our school spirit wear. Our students showed their school pride outside the classroom, especially when they were on field trips this week. Kudos to our sixth grade for managing a wonderful Philadelphia Trip on Thursday. High five to our second grade team for a successful trip to the Zoo. Way to go grades 1 and 4 for completing your Collaborative Team Days! Our teams are in the process of reflecting on first quarter and planning the second quarter. The administrators have also been busy this week with meetings which include Title 1, Young Scholars, and Early Childhood. A HUGE THANK YOU to our PTA for organizing the Restaurant Day and Raffle at Dogfish Head Restaurant.
